Admission & Referrals

We are available to arrange assessments, admissions, facilitate transportation and schedule tours of our extended care and sober living facilities. While prospective residents are typically referred to Turning Point by residential treatment centers, wilderness programs, and other primary care facilities, it is not a requirement. They may self–refer or be referred by family members.

In addition, we regularly receive referrals from:

  • Interventionists
  • Educational Consultants
  • Psychologists
  • Alcohol & Drug Counselors
  • Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP)
  • Attorneys, etc.

Prospective extended care residents are asked to complete a confidential telephone assessment. Once the assessment is completed, our staff will determine the most appropriate level of care.

If another level or care is indicated, we will make referrals to the appropriate providers including interventionists and addiction treatment programs as needed. If our staff recommends admission into Turning Point’s extended care and sober living program, the prospective resident will provided with an arrival date.
