The length of stay at Turning Point is determined on an individual basis with progression through all three phases varying from three to twelve months. Residents typically spend four to six weeks in Phase I; six to eight weeks in Phase II; and seven to eight months in Phase III. However, every resident’s recovery plan is individualized and the total investment can vary greatly.
Please contact Admissions at 203-937-2309 or at info@tpextendedcare.com and an admissions coordinator will answer general questions regarding costs and insurance coverage.
While the cost for residential services at Turning Point is not covered under most insurance plans, our outpatient treatment center, Center for Change, will help residents and their families access any out-of-network benefits they may have available for substance abuse treatment services. Prior to admission, we will collect insurance information and contact the carrier to verify benefits including co-pay and deductible amounts. As a courtesy, we will bill your insurance company for the services provided at Center for Change.
For residents covered by an HMO or other plan that does not include out-of-network benefits, we offer substantially discounted out-of-pocket rates for the treatment services offered at Center for Change.
If you are unsure about the benefits included in your policy, please call us at 203-937-2309 and ask to speak with Admissions. We will be glad to contact your insurance carrier to determine eligibility and answer any other questions about the program.
We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover, certified check, personal check and wire transfer. A 3% service charge will be added to all credit card payments.
Turning Point works with a medical loan company that can help with providing the financing needed for a resident’s stay. They offer low interest rates and monthly payments if you qualify. Please go to our Financing page for more information.
